Job Summary

We are looking for a Purchase & Vendor Manager with an engineering background and robust experience in procurement, vendor management, and purchase operations. The candidate will be responsible for managing the complete purchase cycle for alcohol manufacturing, plant operations, maintenance, construction, and real-estate projects.

The role requires someone who can identify reliable vendors, negotiate commercial terms, control costs, ensure timely material availability, and coordinate closely with the plant, projects, accounts, and management teams.

Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end purchase and procurement activities for plant, projects, maintenance, construction, and office requirements.
Identify, evaluate,



and develop reliable vendors, suppliers, contractors, and service providers.
Obtain and compare quotations, negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and other commercial conditions.
Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
Maintain solid relationships with existing vendors and continuously develop current vendor sources.
Monitor material quality, quantity, pricing, delivery, and vendor performance.
Coordinate with plant and project teams to understand material and equipment requirements.
Procure engineering items such as machinery, spare parts, electrical items, pumps, pipes, fittings, fabrication materials, tools, safety equipment, and maintenance materials.
Handle procurement related to construction, civil work, interiors, infrastructure, and real-estate projects.
