Identify and develop new distributors, dealers, retailers, institutional clients, and business partners.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
Manage and expand the company's sales and distribution network.
Lead, mentor, and monitor the business development/sales team.
Set team targets, track performance, and ensure achievement of monthly and yearly goals.
Conduct regular market research to identify new opportunities, customer needs, and competitor activities.
Develop strategies for market expansion and brand growth in the Ayurvedic/herbal/wellness segment.
Coordinate with marketing, operations, production, and management teams for smooth business execution.
Handle key client negotiations, commercial discussions, and business proposals.
Prepare sales forecasts, business reports, MIS, and performance presentations for management.
Monitor sales pipelines and ensure timely follow-up and conversion of leads.




Develop long-term B2B and institutional business opportunities.
Ensure excellent customer service and maintain robust professional relationships.
Travel occasionally for client meetings, distributor meetings, exhibitions, and business development activities when required.

Required Experience & Skills
7+ years of relevant experience in Business Development, Sales, B2B Sales, Distribution, FMCG, Ayurvedic, Herbal, Pharma, Wellness, or related industries.
Minimum 3 years of experience in a team-leadership/managerial role.
Strong knowledge of sales and business development processes.
Proven track record of achieving revenue and sales targets.
Experience in distributor/dealer/channel development will be preferred.
Strong negotiation, communication, presentation, and relationship-management skills.
