Job Requirements

Oil & Gas, Hydrocarbon Consulting / EPC firms – Design Department

Technical Skills

Perform piping stress analysis using tools such as CAESAR II / AutoPIPE.

Evaluate piping systems for:

Sustained, thermal, and occasional loads

Wind, seismic, and energetic conditions

Prepare and review:

Stress analysis reports

Load summaries for equipment and structures

Stress isometrics and support drawings

Ensure compliance with codes such as ASME B31.3 and ASME B31.1.

Recommend and design appropriate pipe supports, spring supports, and expansion loops.

Coordinate with piping layout, mechanical, and civil/structural teams.





Review vendor data for critical equipment such as pumps, compressors, and exchangers.

Participate in design reviews, HAZOPs, and model reviews.

Provide technical support during construction, installation, and commissioning.

Software Skills

CAESAR II – Mandatory

AutoPIPE – Advantage

Knowledge of PDMS / SP3D / E3D is preferred.

Preferred Skills

Exposure to FEED and detailed engineering phases.

Experience in brownfield and revamp projects.

Robust understanding of piping stress analysis, supports, and applicable design codes.

Experience working with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

CTC: Up to ₹10 LPA, based on experience and skills.
