The Sales & Business Development Executive will be responsible for generating current business prospects, developing customer relationships, following up on enquiries and quotations, and thus converting enquiries into confirmed orders. This is an inside-sales role conducted entirely from the company's office, involving telephone calls, emails, WhatsApp Business, CRM/Excel trackers, and coordination with internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

A. Business Development & Lead Generation
Identify and develop new customers through cold telephone calls, email campaigns, WhatsApp Business, Linkedin , Referral and online research.
Generate enquiries from manufacturing companies, factories, and industrial customers.
Develop recent customer accounts and maintain an updated customer database.
Identify opportunities for repeat business and cross-selling.
Introduce Apt Controls' product range and sourcing capabilities to prospective customers.

B. Enquiry & Quotation Coordination
Receive and register customer enquiries in the enquiry tracker.




Coordinate with the purchase team for supplier pricing and availability.
Prepare and send quotations using company-approved formats.
Follow up on quotations and negotiate commercially within approved guidelines.
Track enquiry status from initial contact through order confirmation or closure.

C. Sales Pipeline & Reporting
Maintain accurate records in Excel / CRM.
Update lead status as Hot, Warm, or Cold.
Monitor lead aging and follow-up due dates.
Track customer responses, quotation conversion, and lost business reasons.

D. Internal Coordination
Coordinate with the purchase team for supplier offers and product availability.
Work with the dispatch team to communicate delivery updates.
Coordinate with accounts for payment-related customer communication when required.
Escalate urgent enquiries, delayed quotations, and customer complaints to the reporting manager.
