About the Role

We are looking for an experienced qualified to manage our accounts and tender processes. You will work closely with our Chartered Accountant to finalise accounts, advise on GST, TDS and company compliance, and take an active part in tender bidding and the related paperwork.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts and finalisation
Maintain books of accounts and work with our CA to finalise accounts (Trial Balance, Profit & Loss Account, Balance Sheet and schedules).
Reconcile ledgers, bank statements, debtors, creditors, loans, fixed assets and vehicle and fuel expenses.
Pass adjustment and closing entries, including provisions, accruals and depreciation.
Assist the CA and auditors in statutory and tax audits.

TDS and compliance
Ensure correct GST treatment on transport services, input tax credit, e-way bills and invoicing.
Prepare or coordinate GST returns and reconciliations (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B).
Ensure correct TDS deduction, timely deposit and return filing, including TDS on freight and contractor payments.
Handle ROC/MCA and other statutory compliances, and maintain a compliance calendar.
Advise management on compliance matters, discussing complex issues with the CA as required.

Tender bidding
Actively participate in tender bidding on government and private e-procurement portals (including GeM and state portals).
Prepare and compile tender documents, including financial statements, turnover certificates, ITRs, GST and TDS records and CA certificates.
Check eligibility criteria and document completeness before submission.
