Role Description
The Health Safety Workplace (HSE) Officer will be responsible for implementing, monitoring,



and improving HSE policies and procedures across EPCC project sites to ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards. This full time, in office role is based in Chennai and involves conducting regular risk assessments, inspections, and safety audits, as well as identifying hazards and recommending corrective actions. The HSE Officer will develop and deliver safety trainings, toolbox talks, and awareness programs for employees, contractors, and third-party service providers. They will investigate incidents and near-misses, prepare detailed reports, and track corrective and preventive actions to reduce recurrence. The role also includes maintaining HSE documentation, supporting certifications and regulatory submissions, collaborating with project teams on safe work practices, and promoting a proactive safety and environmental protection culture within the organization.
