About the Role

QualPro Aluminium is looking for a
Design Engineer
with strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in
AutoCAD, civil engineering and façade/glazing systems
.

The ideal candidate should have a valuable understanding of
Unitized Glazing and other façade systems
, along with the ability to develop accurate drawings and coordinate effectively with project and execution teams.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and develop detailed
2D drawings and technical drawings using AutoCAD
.
Develop façade, glazing and aluminium system drawings as per project requirements.
Prepare
shop drawings, fabrication drawings and installation details
.
Work on designs related to
Unitized Glazing, Stick Glazing, Curtain Wall Systems and other façade systems
.
Interpret architectural, structural and engineering drawings.
Coordinate with project, site and execution teams to resolve design and technical issues.
Review drawings for accuracy,



dimensions, specifications and constructability.
Incorporate design changes and prepare revisions based on project requirements.
Assist in material take-offs, quantity calculations and technical documentation where required.
Ensure drawings and designs comply with project specifications and applicable standards.

Requirements
Bachelor’s/Diploma in Civil Engineering
or a related engineering discipline.
3–7 years of relevant experience
in design engineering, preferably in the
façade, aluminium, glazing or building envelope industry
.
Solid working knowledge of
AutoCAD
.
Good understanding of
Unitized Glazing, Stick Glazing, Curtain Wall Systems and façade construction
.
Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
Good understanding of aluminium profiles, glass, façade components and installation methods will be an advantage.
