Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain 3D Electrical BIM models using Revit MEP.
Prepare electrical layouts, equipment layouts, cable tray/trunking layouts, lighting layouts, earthing and lightning protection layouts.
Develop accurate cable tray routing and cable containment systems based on design requirements.
Coordinate electrical models with Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Piping and Architectural disciplines.
Identify and resolve clashes/interdisciplinary coordination issues using Navisworks or equivalent software.
Prepare GA drawings, sections, details and installation drawings from BIM models.
Incorporate engineering design changes and maintain model revisions.
Extract BIM quantities, schedules and BOQ-related information from the model.
Coordinate with site teams to incorporate as-built information into BIM models.
Support preparation of shop drawings and construction documentation.
