Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented General Manager Quality to lead the Quality function across the organization. The role will be responsible for establishing and strengthening the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with FSSAI and other applicable regulatory requirements, driving internal and process audits, managing quality standards, and promoting a robust culture of quality and food safety across operations.

The incumbent will work closely with Operations, Production, EHS, Procurement, R&D; and other functional teams to ensure consistent quality, regulatory compliance and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and drive the organization's Quality Management System (QMS) across locations and business functions.
Develop, implement and continuously improve quality policies, systems, SOPs, standards and procedures.
Ensure compliance with FSSAI, food safety regulations and other applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
Plan and conduct internal quality audits,



process audits and system audits across manufacturing/operational units.
Coordinate and support external, customer, regulatory and certification audits and ensure timely closure of audit observations.
Identify quality gaps, non-conformities and process deviations and drive Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
Establish and monitor quality KPIs, quality standards and compliance metrics across the organization.
Drive process improvement and quality improvement initiatives to reduce defects, deviations, customer complaints and operational risks.
Ensure effective root cause analysis and implementation of preventive measures for recurring quality issues.
Work closely with the EHS team to ensure integration of quality, food safety, health, safety and environmental requirements into operational processes.
Ensure proper documentation, record management and traceability as part of the QMS.
