Assistant Finance Manager –

Location: Vadodara, Gujarat – Hybrid

Reporting to: DGM Finance

Initial Engagement: Consultant engagement until March 2027, with consideration for transition to a full time position before or after this period, based on performance and business requirements.

Experience: 3– 6 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting; candidates with relevant higher experience may also be considered.

About the Role

Company is seeking a smart, agile, and hands-on Finance qualified to take responsibility for day-to-day finance and accounting activities for its India operations, working closely with the DGM – Finance and coordinating with key stakeholders.

The position carries significant responsibility for the day-to-day finance and accounting activities of the India operations. The successful candidate will be expected to work independently, take ownership of assigned responsibilities and act as a reliable point of contact for finance-related matters, while working under the direction of the DGM – Finance.





Experience in the Oil & Gas / Energy sector would be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day finance and accounting activities for the India operations under the guidance of the DGM – Finance.
Maintain accurate and timely accounting records in Odoo ERP, including appropriate supporting documentation.
Prepare monthly and periodic financial reports, schedules and reconciliations as required by management.
Support JV accounting, cost sharing, partner reconciliations and other financial matters under applicable PSC/JOA arrangements.
Handle GST, Income Tax, TDS and other applicable statutory and tax matters, including coordination with external consultants where required.
Review invoices, payments, receivables, payables, bank transactions and accounting entries to ensure accuracy and completeness.
