About the Position

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Chief Accountant to manage the company's complete accounting operations, financial records, statutory compliances and taxation matters.

The ideal candidate should have solid practical knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax and statutory returns, along with experience in maintaining accounts independently and coordinating with auditors, consultants, banks and government authorities.

Key Responsibilities
Manage the company's day-to-day accounting and financial transactions.
Maintain accurate books of accounts, ledgers, vouchers and supporting documents.
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and MIS reports.
Handle GST accounting, GST returns, reconciliation and compliance.
Prepare and file TDS returns, including TDS calculations, payments and reconciliation.
Prepare and coordinate Income Tax returns and related statutory requirements.
Ensure timely payment and filing of all statutory dues and returns.
Reconcile GST, TDS, bank accounts, receivables and payables.




Monitor accounts receivable and payable and maintain proper follow-up.
Prepare payroll-related accounting and statutory deductions when required.
Coordinate with CA, auditors, tax consultants, banks and statutory authorities.
Assist in preparation of budgets, cash-flow statements and financial reports.
Maintain proper documentation for audits and tax assessments.
Identify accounting discrepancies and ensure timely correction.
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations and company policies.
Support management with accurate financial information for business decisions.

Essential Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance; M.Com, CA Inter or equivalent qualification will be an advantage.
Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
