Role & responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain monitoring and observability solutions using Amazon Managed Grafana.
Create interactive dashboards, alerts, and visualizations for infrastructure and application monitoring.
Integrate Grafana with data sources such as AWS CloudWatch, Prometheus, OpenSearch, Loki, and X-Ray.
Implement end-to-end observability using OpenTelemetry for metrics, logs, and traces.
Configure and optimize alerting mechanisms using Grafana Alerting and AWS monitoring services.
Monitor AWS cloud infrastructure including EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda, RDS, S3, API Gateway, and other AWS services.
Automate dashboard deployment and monitoring configurations using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and system health issues using observability tools.
Collaborate with DevOps, SRE, Platform Engineering, and Development teams to improve reliability and performance.
