Role Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Purchase Assistant to support procurement and inventory operations for the hospital. The candidate will be responsible for assisting in purchasing activities, inventory tracking, and ensuring timely procurement of medical and non-medical supplies to maintain smooth hospital operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Procurement & Purchase Operations:
Assist in procurement of medical equipment, medicines, consumables, surgical items, and general hospital supplies
Process purchase requisitions and purchase orders
Track order status and ensure timely availability of required materials
Coordinate internally with departments regarding purchase requirements
Inventory & Documentation:
Monitor stock levels and coordinate with concerned departments regarding material requirements
Maintain purchase records, invoices, and inventory documentation
Ensure proper documentation for audit and compliance purposes
Support inventory reconciliation and stock verification activities
Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation
Software & MIS Management:
Work on procurement software and ERP systems for purchase tracking and reporting
Manage purchase entries and maintain records in procurement software
Generate MIS reports related to procurement and inventory
Ensure timely updating of procurement and stock data
Requirements:
Graduate in any discipline (Mandatory)/B.com/BBA Preferred
Experience in hospital/Pharmacy procurement/purchase operations preferred
Comfortable working with procurement software such as Zoho Procurement or similar ERP systems
