Role Description The FSSAI Regulatory Expert will be responsible for advising clients on Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) regulations, including licensing, registration, and ongoing compliance requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing documentation, interpreting regulatory updates, preparing applications, coordinating with authorities, and ensuring clients meet all applicable food safety standards. The role involves drafting compliance reports, maintaining accurate records, and supporting internal teams with regulatory insights for client projects.





The expert will also assist in developing compliance strategies, handling client queries, and participating in audits or inspections as needed. This is a full time, in office role based in Delhi.

Qualifications
Strong understanding of FSSAI Regulatory Compliance and Regulatory Requirements applicable to food businesses in India.
Relevant experience in Regulatory Affairs, particularly in food safety, licensing, and certification processes.
Well-developed Analytical Skills for interpreting regulations, assessing risk, and resolving complex compliance issues.
Effective Communication skills for interacting with clients, authorities, and internal teams, both in writing and verbally.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in law, food technology, food science, public health, or a related discipline.
Prior experience in a consulting, legal, or compliance advisory environment, preferably with FSSAI-related work.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple client assignments, and meet regulatory timelines with attention to detail.
Proficiency with office productivity tools; familiarity with compliance management or documentation software is an advantage.
