About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and technically solid Technical Manager to lead the technical operations of our Building Materials Testing Laboratory.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in construction material testing, laboratory management, NABL/ISO/IEC 17025 requirements, test methods, equipment, technical documentation and quality control.

The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that laboratory testing is technically competent, accurate, reliable and carried out in accordance with applicable IS, ASTM, BS, MoRTH, CPWD and other relevant standards.

Key Responsibilities1. Technical Management
Overall responsibility for day-to-day technical operations of the laboratory.
Plan,



supervise and monitor laboratory testing activities.
Ensure tests are performed strictly as per approved test methods, relevant standards and laboratory SOPs.
Review test results, calculations, worksheets and technical reports before release.
Identify technical issues, investigate abnormal results and ensure corrective actions.
Maintain consistency, accuracy and traceability of test results.
NABL / ISO/IEC 17025
Maintain technical compliance with ISO/IEC 17025:2017 requirements.
Support the laboratory's NABL accreditation and surveillance/assessment activities.
Maintain technical records, test methods, SOPs, formats and quality records.
Coordinate method verification/validation, measurement uncertainty and quality-control activities wherever applicable.
Participate in internal audits, proficiency testing/inter-laboratory comparisons and corrective/preventive actions.
Ensure calibration
