About StarterSky

StarterSky is a Mumbai-based education company. We help students start their own projects and business as well as we work with companies to create meaningful internship experiences. We run group cohorts, individual mentoring tracks, and a growing internship placement vertical that connects students with real companies. We're a small, rapid-moving team, and this role will work directly with the founder.

The Role

We're hiring a Sales & Marketing Associate to help us grow on both sides of the business, bringing more students into our accelerator programs, and building out our internship vertical. You will own outreach and conversion for students and parents, pitch to schools and counsellors, participate in BD and help build the company-side pipeline for internship placements. This is a generalist growth role. You will move between calls, campaigns, and outreach depending on what the week needs.

What You will Do
Run conversion calls with prospective students and parents, guiding them from inquiry to enrollment across our cohort and individual-track programs




Support outreach to schools and counsellors to build partnerships and referral pipelines
Do outbound outreach to companies to build our internship placement pipeline- cold calling and relationship-building with businesses willing to host student interns
Support webinars and info sessions for schools, counsellors, and parents
Track leads, conversion rates, and campaign performance, and report back on what's working
Represent StarterSky at any school or private fair
Create different channels to increase awareness

What We are Looking For
1–2 years of experience in sales, marketing, business development, or a related field (internships count)
Comfortable making outbound calls and holding conversations with parents, schools, and companies
Robust written and spoken communication- you can represent StarterSky's voice credibly to a principal, parent and a 16 year old
