Job Summary

The Physiotherapist at Nahla Centre for Child Development is responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing individualized physiotherapy interventions for children with developmental, neurological, musculoskeletal, and physical challenges. The role involves working collaboratively with children, parents, caregivers, and a multidisciplinary team to support each child’s functional independence, mobility, and overall development.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct detailed physiotherapy assessments and identify the child's physical, motor, and functional needs.
Develop individualized physiotherapy treatment plans based on assessment findings and therapeutic goals.
Provide evidence-based physiotherapy interventions to children with developmental delays and other physical or neurological conditions.
Work with children with conditions such as Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Autism Spectrum Disorder, developmental delay,



motor coordination difficulties, and other developmental or physical challenges.
Conduct therapeutic exercises and activities to improve strength, balance, coordination, posture, mobility, gait, gross motor skills, and functional independence.
Monitor the child's progress regularly and modify treatment plans when necessary.
Maintain accurate assessment reports, treatment notes, progress reports, and other clinical documentation.
Educate and guide parents and caregivers regarding home exercise programs and strategies to support the child's development.
Collaborate closely with Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, Special Educators, Behaviour Therapists, Psychologists, and other members of the multidisciplinary team.
Participate in case discussions, multidisciplinary meetings, reassessments, and treatment planning.
