About the Role

Evara Fine Dine & Bar is looking for an experienced and skilled Tandoor CDP to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Indian tandoor cuisine, maintain consistent food quality, and be able to efficiently manage the tandoor section during busy service.

Key Responsibilities
Manage the complete Tandoor section during daily operations and service.
Prepare and cook tandoori kebabs, breads, meats, seafood, and other Indian dishes according to Evara's recipes and standards.
Ensure consistent taste, presentation, portion size, and food quality.
Maintain proper mise en place and ensure all ingredients are prepared and available before service.
Operate and maintain the tandoor and related kitchen equipment safely.
Monitor cooking temperatures and cooking times to maintain consistency.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety within the section.




Coordinate with the Sous Chef, CDP, and other kitchen sections for smooth service.
Monitor stock levels and communicate requirements to the senior kitchen team.
Minimize food wastage and maintain proper portion control.
Assist with training and guiding Commis Chefs and junior kitchen staff.
Follow all kitchen SOPs, recipes, and hygiene standards.
Support the kitchen team during high-volume service and special events.

Requirements
2–5 years of experience in a Tandoor section, preferably in a fine-dining restaurant or hotel.
Strong knowledge of Indian tandoor cooking techniques.
Experience with kebabs, tandoori chicken, fish, seafood, breads, and vegetarian tandoor preparations.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service.
Valuable understanding of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen operations.
