Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Purchase professional with robust expertise in strategic sourcing, vendor development, procurement planning, and commercial negotiations. The role will focus on developing a reliable vendor base while ensuring cost competitiveness, quality, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities
Manage vendor registration, qualification, onboarding, and development.
Identify, evaluate, and develop new vendors based on business requirements.
Conduct vendor performance evaluation covering quality, cost, delivery, and compliance.
Drive strategic sourcing across various procurement categories.
Lead commercial negotiations to achieve competitive pricing and favourable terms.
Prepare and execute procurement plans based on operational and project requirements.
Develop alternate sources to reduce supply risks and vendor dependency.




Drive cost optimization through sourcing, negotiation, and supplier development.
Maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and drive continuous improvement.
Coordinate with Engineering, Projects, Operations, and other stakeholders for procurement requirements.

Requirements
8+ years of relevant experience in Strategic Procurement / Sourcing / Vendor Management.
B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical or relevant Engineering discipline.
Robust experience in vendor development, sourcing, negotiation, and procurement planning.
Good knowledge of cost optimization and supplier performance management.
Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
