About The Team

Expo is Walmart's in-house A/B testing and experimentation platform, developed and supported by Walmart Global Tech Data Platforms to meet the scale and unique requirements of Walmart's web and mobile applications. It enables teams to run statistically sound, experimentally valid tests with low lifecycle cost, allowing for data-driven evaluation of recent features and changes.

Expo is used across multiple Walmart customer-facing sites and apps, including walmart.com and international markets. The platform supports incremental rollout, risk reduction, and rapid iteration by letting teams preview, ramp up, or pause experiments as needed. The platform also supports real-time monitoring and provides exhaustive reports for tests.
