Role Description The Accountant role at Kohli E-mart is a full-time, in office position based in Dehradun. The Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting activities, including recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, and reconciling bank statements. Responsibilities include preparing invoices, tracking accounts payable and receivable, and assisting with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting. The role also involves monitoring cash flow, supporting budgeting processes, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax regulations. The Accountant will collaborate with operations and management teams to provide accurate financial data,



support decision-making, and help improve financial controls and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

- Proficiency in core accounting functions, including general ledger management, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Experience preparing financial statements, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and monitoring cash flow.
- Knowledge of applicable tax regulations, compliance requirements, and basic auditing principles.
- Hands-on experience with accounting software and spreadsheets (e.g., Tally, ERP systems, MS Excel).
- Strong numerical accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with operations and management teams on-site.
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain proper documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (such as CA/CPA or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in retail, e-commerce, or small-to-medium business accounting is preferred.
