One of our multinational financial institution clients operating in India is looking for an experienced Manager, Software Development & Engineering - SRE to join its technology and operations team in Hyderabad. The successful professional will work in a large-scale, regulated enterprise environment and collaborate with cross-functional and global stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Improve reliability, availability and operational efficiency of business-critical platforms.
- Define and monitor service-level objectives and reliability metrics.
- Build automation to reduce operational toil and improve recovery.
- Enhance observability, monitoring and alerting.
- Participate in incident response, root-cause analysis and problem management.
- Improve CI/CD, cloud/container operations and platform resilience.
- Strong software engineering, SRE or production-engineering background.
- Experience with observability,
automation, CI/CD and highly available systems.
- Cloud and container-platform experience is strongly preferred; leadership experience is required for managerial roles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
- Clear communication and ability to work with distributed/global teams.
- Commitment to quality, security, reliability and disciplined enterprise delivery.
- Ability to work effectively in a regulated financial-services setting.
