What’s unique about this role?
Search Consulting is a team of experts in linguistics, eDiscovery law and process, and legal technology. The team consults on and supports pre-review data minimization, maximizing cull rates, and applying technology and search expertise to optimize downstream review efficiencies. The Associate Search Consultant supports the team’s goals by providing services such as keyword search term optimization, analyzing, iterating, and reporting on terms to clients, and data minimization pre-review.
What will this person do?
- Supports analysis and application of technology to reduce data volumes pre-review
- Supports search consultation services
o Develops fluency in dt Search syntax and relevant review platform features/functionality
o Increases process knowledge, speed, and accuracy as they relate to standard search consultation services and QC protocols
o Ensures work product meets quality and timeliness standards
o Supports creation of client-facing analyses, reports, and other deliverables
o Expands understanding of client contexts, needs, and motivations
- Internal point of contact for project management teams
o Addresses questions from project management teams or clients in timely manner
- Performs other tasks as needed

- Bachelor's degree at minimum or a post graduate degree. A degree in linguistics, mathematics, computer science, or similar field of study or additional equivalent years of experience in eDiscovery is preferred
- Comfortable with a remote working environment with space available for office infrastructure and private workspace.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
- Strong analytical skills
- Working knowledge of dt Search syntax required
- Fairly adept at dealing with ambiguity and change.
- Keen attention to detail & solid client service ethic
- Experience with research and data analysis might be advantageous for the job.
- Strong service orientation with both internal and external clients
- High commitment to ensuring quality output
- . Ambitious, organized, self-driven & a quick learner.
- Motivated by interactive team environments with shared mandates.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
