Job Summary

We are looking for a Compliance & Legal Executive to independently manage FSSAI/FoSCoS and Food & FMCG regulatory compliance across multiple company locations.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage FSSAI licenses, including new applications, renewals, modifications and timely maintenance.
- Independently handle FoSCoS portal applications, renewals, modifications and submissions.
- Manage FSSAI Annual Return filing for applicable units.
- Maintain a centralized license, certificate & compliance tracker and ensure zero avoidable expiry.
- Review documents required for FSSAI renewals, modifications and government approvals.
- Monitor FSSAI, Legal Metrology, Food Labelling & Packaging, Consumer and other applicable regulations.
- Track regulatory changes and communicate requirements to relevant teams.
- Coordinate with government authorities, consultants and external legal counsel for notices, inspections and approvals.
- Conduct compliance assessments, identify gaps/risks and track corrective actions to closure.
- Support development/review of policies, SOPs and compliance procedures.
- Maintain records of licenses, certificates, regulatory correspondence, inspections and statutory filings.
- Coordinate with Quality, Operations, Procurement,



Finance and other departments for regulatory compliance and agreement/document checking.

Candidate Profile

- 6 months to 3 years of relevant Food/FMCG regulatory compliance experience.
- Hands-on FSSAI/FoSCoS experience is mandatory, including licensing, renewal, modification and Annual Return filing.
- Good knowledge of FSSAI regulations, Food Labelling & Packaging and Legal Metrology.
- Experience handling compliance for multiple manufacturing/warehouse locations preferred.
- Strong documentation, regulatory research, follow-up and coordination skills.
- Ability to independently manage day-to-day regulatory compliance activities.
- LLB/LLM or degree in Regulatory Affairs/related field preferred.
