A fitter welder assembles, fits, and joins metal parts and structures using specialized tools and welding equipment based on technical blueprints.
- Read Blueprints: Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and welding symbols to plan assembly sequences. [1, 2]
- Fit and Align: Measure, cut, shape, grind, and tack-weld metal components into proper alignment before final welding. [1]
- Perform Welding: Execute welds using processes like MIG (GMAW), TIG (GTAW), and Stick/Arc welding in flat, vertical, or overhead positions. [1, 2]
- Inspect Quality: Check dimensions and examine finished welds for structural flaws, warping, or defects. [1, 2]
- Maintain Safety:
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
