Job Summary:

The Trainer – Data Centre Operations Management will deliver technical training that builds practical, industry-relevant skills for learners beginning careers in data centre operations. The role calls for strong knowledge of data centre infrastructure, hardware, networking fundamentals, power systems, and operational procedures, along with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into an engaging, hands-on learning experience for a diverse group of trainees

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver theoretical and practical training sessions in line with the approved Data Centre Operations Management curriculum.
- Train learners on server hardware, storage devices, networking basics, UPS systems, and other data centre infrastructure components.
- Demonstrate installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, switches, racks, cabling, and power management systems.
- Instill best practices in data centre safety, operations, monitoring, and preventive maintenance.
- Provide hands-on exposure to real-world data centre tasks, troubleshooting, and operational workflows.
- Conduct assessments to evaluate learner understanding, skill development, and job-readiness.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, performance scores, feedback, and completion of practical tasks.
- Offer individual mentoring and doubt-clarification support to help trainees achieve certification readiness.




- Coordinate with placement teams to support learners in securing industry placements.
- Collaborate with the Centre Coordinator and project team to ensure smooth training delivery and operations.
- Participate in mobilization, awareness, and counselling sessions for prospective trainees.
- Prepare training reports, documentation, and progress updates as required.
- Maintain the training lab, tools, machines, and systems in valuable working order for effective practical sessions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- B.Tech / B.E. / M.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of teaching or training experience, plus 2 years of industry experience in data centre operations, IT infrastructure, networking, or server administration.
- Strong understanding of data centre components, including servers, switches, routers, racks, cabling, cooling systems, power backup, and safety protocols.
- Solid knowledge of hardware troubleshooting, OS installation, networking fundamentals, and IT infrastructure monitoring.
- Excellent communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English and the local language.
- Ability to guide, motivate, and support trainees with patience and professionalism.
- Strong presentation, documentation, and classroom management abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office, internet usage, and basic hardware/software support.

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹360,000.00 per year
