We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Feed Mill Head to oversee the complete operations of our poultry feed manufacturing plant in Haveri. The role will be responsible for ensuring efficient production, consistent feed quality, optimum utilization of raw materials, cost control, machinery efficiency, manpower productivity, safety, and timely dispatch of poultry feed as per production plans.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the complete poultry feed mill operations from raw material intake to finished feed dispatch.

Plan and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly poultry feed production as per production requirements.

Ensure production of poultry feed as per approved feed formulations, quality standards, and process parameters.

Monitor key processes including grinding, batching, mixing, pelleting, cooling, crumbling, and packing.

Ensure optimum utilization of raw materials, manpower, machinery, electricity, and other resources.

Monitor raw material consumption, wastage, yield, and variance against standard norms.

Control production cost per MT and identify opportunities to reduce costs.

Ensure effective operation and maximum availability of feed mill machinery.

Coordinate with the maintenance team for preventive maintenance and breakdown maintenance to minimize downtime.





Ensure proper storage and handling of poultry feed raw materials and finished feed.

Coordinate with Quality/Technical teams to maintain consistent poultry feed quality.

Ensure timely production and dispatch of finished poultry feed as per the production and dispatch plan.

Manage and supervise feed mill manpower, including operators, technicians, and contract workers.

Ensure adherence to SOPs, safety procedures, hygiene, housekeeping, and 5S practices.

Monitor plant performance through key parameters such as production output, yield, wastage, downtime, power consumption, and cost per MT.

Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Maintain production records, consumption reports, stock records, and daily/monthly plant MIS.

Coordinate with Purchase, Stores, Quality, Maintenance, Logistics, and Poultry Farm/Operations teams for smooth feed mill operations.

Ensure compliance with applicable statutory, safety, environmental, and company requirements.

Drive continuous improvement in productivity, feed quality, operational efficiency, and cost optimization

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per hour
