Key Responsibilities ∙

Server Management: Install, configure, and maintain Windows and Linux physical and virtual servers. ∙

Storage Administration: Manage SAN (Storage Area Network), NAS (Network Attached Storage), RAID configurations, LUNs, and storage provisioning.

∙Virtualization: Administer platforms like VMware vSphere/ESXi and Microsoft Hyper-V. ∙Backup and Recovery: Monitor backup solutions, execute data replication, and ensure disaster recovery readiness.

∙Maintenance & Patching: Perform firmware upgrades, hardware diagnostics, and routine patch management. ∙

Troubleshooting: Diagnose system performance bottlenecks and resolve hardware or operating system failures.

∙Documentation: Maintain accurate system architecture diagrams, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and inventory logs.

Required Qualifications & Skills ∙Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology,



or a related field (or equivalent work experience). ∙

Experience: 2 years of hands-on experience in enterprise server and storage administration.

∙Operating Systems: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Windows Server and Linux (Red Hat Enterprise Linux/RHEL).

∙Hardware & Storage Vendors: Familiarity with enterprise hardware from Dell EMC, HPE, NetApp, or Lenovo.

∙Core Concepts: Deep understanding of RAID levels, iSCSI, Fibre Channel, block/file storage, and TCP/IP networking. ∙

Certifications (Preferred): Vendor credentials such as NetApp Certified Professional, Dell EMC Certification, or VMware VCP
