Plastic Injection Moulding Supervisor / Engineer

Location: Wadgaon / Bhima Koregaon, Pune, Maharashtra
Experience: Minimum 2 Years
Shift: 12-Hour Shift – 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM
Weekly Off: Thursday

Job Responsibilities

- Handle day-to-day plastic injection moulding production and ensure smooth machine operations.
- Perform mould setting and mould changeover for different types of injection moulds.
- Start and operate injection moulding machines as per production requirements.
- Set machine parameters including temperature, pressure, cycle time and other process conditions.
- Monitor production output and achieve daily production targets.
- Conduct quality checks of moulded components and identify common injection moulding defects.
- Troubleshoot basic machine, mould and process-related issues to minimize downtime and rejection.
- Control material wastage, rejection and cycle time to improve production efficiency.
- Supervise and manage operators and production manpower on the shop floor.
- Maintain production, quality and shift-related records.
- Coordinate with Quality and Maintenance teams for smooth production.
- Follow 5S, safety, quality standards and SOPs on the shop floor.

Required Skills





- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in Plastic Injection Moulding.
- Solid hands-on knowledge of setting different types of moulds and mould changeover.
- Experience in operating and setting injection moulding machines.
- Knowledge of plastic materials and injection moulding processes.
- Understanding of injection moulding defects and quality inspection.
- Ability to handle production operators and manpower.
- Knowledge of production planning, rejection control and cycle-time optimization.
- Basic troubleshooting knowledge of injection moulding machines and moulds.
- Candidates from Plastic Manufacturing / Injection Moulding / Automotive / Plastic Components industries preferred.

Education

Diploma / ITI / Plastic Processing / Mechanical or relevant technical qualification preferred.

Ideal Candidate

A hands-on Plastic Injection Moulding Supervisor / Engineer capable of independently handling mould setting, machine operation, production, quality checks and shop-floor manpower.
