Job Summary :

We are looking for a responsible and organized Store In-Charge to manage the day-to-day store and inventory operations. The candidate will be responsible for receiving, storing, issuing and maintaining stock, ensuring proper inventory control, documentation and timely availability of materials.

The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of F&B;/food material handling, inventory management, stock verification and FIFO/FEFO practices.

Key Responsibilities :

- Manage daily store operations and ensure smooth functioning of the stores department.
- Receive materials from suppliers and verify quantity, quality, specifications and expiry dates.
- Check purchase orders, invoices, delivery challans and other relevant documents.
- Properly record all inward and outward material movements.
- Issue materials to F&B;, Kitchen, Housekeeping and other departments as per approved requisitions.
- Maintain accurate stock registers and inventory records.
- Ensure proper storage and identification of all materials.
- Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) and FEFO (First Expiry, First Out) practices.
- Monitor stock levels and prepare purchase/reorder requirements.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification.
- Investigate and report stock shortages, excess stock and discrepancies.
- Monitor expiry dates and prevent wastage of materials.
- Ensure proper storage of dry, chilled, frozen and other food materials.
- Maintain appropriate temperature and hygiene standards for food storage areas.
- Keep the store clean, organized and pest-free.
- Coordinate with Purchase, F&B;, Kitchen, Finance and other departments.
- Maintain vendor-related documents and support supplier coordination.
- Prepare daily,



weekly and monthly stock reports.
- Support internal and external audits and provide required records.
- Ensure company SOPs and inventory-control procedures are followed.
- Monitor damaged, rejected and expired materials and maintain proper records.
- Minimize stock wastage, pilferage and unnecessary inventory holding.
- Ensure proper security and access control of store areas.

F&B; / Hospital Store Responsibilities

- Handle food ingredients, beverages, groceries, cleaning materials and other F&B-related; items.
- Ensure food materials are stored according to required conditions.
- Check batch numbers, manufacturing dates and expiry dates.
- Maintain proper segregation of raw materials and non-food items.
- Coordinate with the F&B; Manager regarding daily material requirements.
- Ensure timely issue of materials to the kitchen and F&B; department.
- Maintain records of food material consumption and wastage.
- Support food-safety and hygiene audits.

Qualification Requirements :

- Any Degree / Diploma in Stores, Inventory Management, Logistics, Hospitality or a related field.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in Stores/Inventory Management.
- Experience in hospital, hotel, catering, F&B; or institutional stores will be preferred.
- Valuable knowledge of inventory management and stock control.
- Knowledge of FIFO/FEFO practices.
- Good documentation and record-maintenance skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word, Tally.
- Positive communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
