Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team, working with children diagnosed with Autism and developmental delays. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in sensory integration, fine motor development and adaptive strategies to enhance children's daily functioning.

Key Responsibilities

- - Conduct comprehensive assessments of each child's sensory, motor and adaptive skill needs.

- - Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy plans tailored to each child's unique goals.





- - Provide one-on-one occupational therapy sessions that address sensory and adaptive strategies to enhance children's daily functioning.

- - Utilize sensory integration techniques, motor skill exercises and adaptive strategies to enhance children's daily functioning.

- - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including speech and behavior therapists to provide well-rounded care.

- - Document child's progress, adapting therapy plans as needed to meet the child's objectives.

- - Educate and guide parents, offering training and resources to support their children's development at home.

- - Maintain a safe, engaging, and supportive environment focused on professional growth.

- - Stay current with the latest research and best practices in occupational therapy and autism community.

Qualifications

- - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.

- - Valid certification and license to practice occupational therapy.

- - Minimum of 2 years experience working with children with Autism, developmental delays, or similar needs.

- - Strong knowledge of sensory integration techniques, motor skill exercises and adaptive strategies to enhance children's daily functioning.

- - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

- - Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children achieve their best potential.
