Job Summary

The Tools & Automation Engineer plays a crucial role in enhancing operational efficiency through the development and maintenance of automation tools. This position focuses on asset management and ITIL processes, ensuring that all solutions align with organizational standards for quality and cost. The engineer will work collaboratively to deliver high-quality code and support existing projects while responding to client requests.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop And Implement Configuration Management Scripts Using Tools Like Bmc Remedy And Ca Service Desk, Ensuring Adherence To Best Practices And Project Requirements.
2. Maintain And Troubleshoot Existing Automation Solutions, Utilizing Itil Frameworks To Resolve Incidents And Enhance System Performance.

Collaborate With Clients To Gather Requirements And Develop Current Features Within The Scope Of Automation Tools, Ensuring Timely And Accurate Delivery.
4. Document Processes, Configurations, And Updates To Ensure Knowledge Sharing And Compliance With Itil Standards.

Skill Requirements

1. Basic Understanding Of Configuration Management Principles And Itil Practices.
2. Familiarity With Tools Like Servicenow, Bmc Remedy, And Ca Service Desk.
3. Strong Problem-Solving Skills And The Ability To Troubleshoot Automation-Related Issues.

Other Requirements

1. Itil Foundation Certification Is Recommended But Not Mandatory
