D2C Operations and E-commerce Lead, ENJEE
About ENJEE
ENJEE is a premium home decor brand launching in October 2026 with a range of premium handcrafted glass and ceramic vases. We sell through our own website and will add marketplaces from November. The team is small: two founders, you, and a warehouse associate you will help train.
The role
You will own the full order journey, from the moment a customer pays to the moment the product arrives intact and the payment is reconciled. You will set up the systems, run them daily, and then build the team and channels around them. In the first few months you will be expected to be fully hands-on. This is a build role, not a supervisory one.
What you will own
Storefront and platforms
1. Run the Shopify admin: product listings, pricing updates, discounts, apps and site policies.
2. Manage Razorpay: settlements, refunds, payment failures and disputes.
3. Manage Shiprocket: courier selection, delivery exceptions, weight disputes and insurance claims.
Fulfilment and inventory
1. Process and dispatch every order within the promised time.
2. Set and enforce packing standards for fragile products, and bring breakage down month on month.
3. Keep stock counts accurate through regular checks, and flag reorders before a product sells out.
4. Manage the packaging and courier vendors.
Customers, returns and reviews
1. Handle customer queries on WhatsApp and email.
2. Run damage claims and returns end to end, including refunds and restocking.
3. Collect genuine customer reviews after delivery.
Growth channels
1. Launch and run our marketplace listings from November.
2.
Set up Instagram and WhatsApp catalogues so customers can buy from social channels.
3. Lead the Unicommerce integration once we sell on more than one channel.
Reporting and compliance
1. Share a weekly report: orders, delivery times, breakage, returns and settlements reconciled against orders.
2. Make sure every parcel carries a correct GST invoice and product label.
3. Hand clean, reconciled sales data to our accountant every month.
Team
1. Write the operating procedures for packing, dispatch and returns.
2. Train and supervise the warehouse associate.
What success looks like
1. First 30 days: every order ships on time, procedures are written, and stock counts match the system.
2. First 60 days: marketplaces are live, breakage and returns are tracked weekly, and reviews are coming in.
3. First 90 days: the warehouse associate runs daily dispatch without you, and you spend your time on channels and improvements.
Who you are
1. You have two to four years in e-commerce operations at a D2C brand.
2. You have worked hands-on with Shopify and a shipping platform such as Shiprocket.
3. You are comfortable with spreadsheets and with reconciling payments against orders.
4. You have handled fragile, premium or high-value products, or can show you take that kind of care.
5. You have listed and managed products on at least one marketplace.
6. You write clearly and can deal with customers and vendors without supervision.
7. Unicommerce experience is a plus, not a requirement.
