We are hiring Customer service import from freight forwarding Industry

Location - Mumbai

Handle end-to-end Import Customer Service activities for sea and/or air shipments.

Coordinate with customers for import shipment documentation and clearance requirements.

Prepare, verify and submit Bill of Entry (BOE) through ICEGATE/EDI.

Check commercial invoice, packing list, Bill of Lading/AWB and other import documents.

Prepare and verify BOE checklist and ensure accurate data filing.

Coordinate with CHA/Customs Broker, Customs, shipping lines, CFS/ICD and transporters for smooth clearance.

Follow up on customs assessment, queries, duty payment and BOE clearance.

Handle customer queries regarding shipment status, customs clearance and delivery.

Coordinate DO release, cargo clearance and final delivery.

Maintain shipment records and provide regular status updates to customers.

Ensure timely completion of documentation and clearance activities.

Handle any amendments or corrections required in BOE and related documents.
