1. Statutory Audit & Assurance Independently plan and execute statutory audit assignments in accordance with applicable Standards on Auditing (SAs). Handle audits of companies following Ind AS and Accounting Standards (AS). Review financial statements and assess compliance with applicable accounting and regulatory requirements. Identify key audit risks and design appropriate audit procedures. Review audit working papers and ensure proper documentation in accordance with SAs. Assist in preparation/review of audit reports, CARO reporting, IFC reporting and Management Letters. Handle complex accounting and auditing matters and discuss conclusions with Partners.
2. Ind AS / Accounting Advisory Hands-on understanding of Ind AS and AS with the ability to independently evaluate accounting issues. Analyse complex transactions and determine appropriate accounting treatment. Assist clients and audit teams in resolving accounting and financial reporting issues.
3. Tax Audit Independently handle Tax Audit assignments under Section 44AB of the Income-tax Act. Review financial statements and underlying records for tax audit purposes. Prepare/review Form 3CD and related disclosures.
4. Companies Act & Regulatory Compliance Valuable working knowledge of the Companies Act, 2013 and applicable Rules. Review compliance requirements relating to financial statements, Board reporting, related parties, managerial remuneration, loans/investments and other applicable provisions. Assist in identifying Companies Act implications arising during statutory audits.
5. Group Reporting Handle group reporting and consolidation-related assignments.
Review reporting packs and financial information submitted by group entities. Coordinate with group auditors/parent companies and ensure timely submission of reporting requirements.
6. Team Management Lead and supervise teams comprising qualified/semi-qualified CAs, article assistants and audit executives. Allocate work, monitor progress and ensure timely completion of assignments. Review work performed by team members and provide appropriate guidance. Conduct regular team discussions on audit issues, technical matters and audit quality. Mentor team members and contribute to their professional development.
7. Training & Knowledge Development Conduct internal training sessions on Ind AS, AS, SAs, Companies Act, Tax Audit and other technical subjects. Develop practical case studies, audit examples and training material. Keep the team updated on changes in accounting standards, auditing standards, tax laws and regulatory requirements. Encourage implementation of technical knowledge into practical audit procedures.
8. Client Management Act as a key point of contact for clients during audit assignments. Communicate audit observations and accounting issues effectively with client finance teams. Desired Technical Skills The candidate should have strong practical exposure to:

Strong practical experience in Statutory Audit and Tax Audit. Good working knowledge of Ind AS, AS, SAs and Companies Act, 2013. Experience in handling audits independently and managing multiple assignments. Prior experience in group reporting/consolidation will be preferred. Demonstrated ability to lead and manage audit teams. Good communication and client-handling skills. Should be comfortable conducting technical training sessions for junior team members. Strong analytical, problem-solving and review skills. Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
