Job Description

Vertex India is looking for an experienced and responsible Accounts Executive to manage day-to-day accounting activities, GST compliance, invoicing, and financial record keeping.

The ideal candidate should have practical experience in GST filing, bookkeeping, invoice generation, and day-to-day accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping records.
- Prepare and generate sales and purchase invoices accurately.
- Handle GST-related work, including GST returns, reconciliation, and compliance.
- Maintain proper records of sales, purchases, expenses, payments, and receipts.
- Perform GST reconciliation and coordinate for any discrepancies.
- Maintain customer and vendor ledgers.
- Record bank transactions and perform bank reconciliation.
- Follow up and maintain records of receivables and payables.
- Assist in monthly closing and preparation of accounting reports.




- Ensure all accounting entries and supporting documents are properly maintained.
- Coordinate with internal teams, customers, vendors, and external consultants/CA when required.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of routine accounting activities.

Requirements

- 2–3 years of relevant experience in accounting.
- Practical knowledge of GST filing and GST compliance is mandatory.
- Good understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
- Experience in invoice generation and ledger maintenance.
- Working knowledge of Busy and MS Excel.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage day-to-day accounting work independently.

Preferred Candidate

Candidates with experience in trading/manufacturing companies or B2B businesses will be preferred.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
