About the Role

E Software Solutions is looking for an experienced Automation Tester with around 2+ years of hands-on experience in both manual and automation testing. The candidate should have robust practical experience working on live projects, with Playwright being mandatory.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable developing automation scripts, identifying and debugging issues, and working closely with developers and QA teams to ensure product quality.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing.
- Create, execute, and maintain test cases.
- Identify, report, track, and verify software defects.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Selenium with Java/Python.
- Develop and maintain web automation tests using Playwright and TypeScript.
- Perform API testing using Postman and basic API automation.
- Perform basic SQL queries for database validation.
- Maintain automation frameworks, reusable utilities, test data, assertions, and reports.
- Analyze automation failures and troubleshoot issues.
- Work with Git, Jira, and basic Jenkins/CI-CD workflows.
- Collaborate with developers, QA team members, and other stakeholders in an Agile environment.





Requirements

- Around 2+ years of hands-on experience in Manual & Automation Testing.
- Mandatory: Hands-on experience with Playwright and TypeScript.
- Strong hands-on experience with Selenium using Java or Python.
- Proven experience working on live projects is required.
- Good understanding of automation frameworks and Page Object Model (POM).
- Basic knowledge of API testing, Postman, and SQL.
- Basic exposure to Appium/mobile automation is an advantage.
- Working knowledge of Git, Jira, and Jenkins/CI-CD.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

We are looking for someone who has practical project experience, not just theoretical knowledge. The candidate should be able to independently understand requirements, create and execute test cases, develop automation scripts, identify failures, and contribute effectively to ongoing projects.

Candidates from Yamuna Nagar and nearby locations are encouraged to apply. Candidates willing to relocate to Yamuna Nagar are also welcome.
