About Us

We are an electronics R&D; company who is building embedded hardware and industrial electronics products, from custom PCB design and firmware to complete commercial products. Our work spans industrial/heavy-equipment electronics and connected home automation. You will work close to the hardware, with a small team, and see your work go from schematic to a shipped product.

Role Overview

You will develop firmware for our embedded products and take part in hardware bring-up and debugging. You will work with the hardware design team, read schematics, validate boards on the bench, and write reliable, well-structured C code that runs on real devices.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and debug embedded firmware in C for microcontroller-based products
- Perform board bring-up of new PCBs: power-rail checks, clock and reset validation, peripheral verification, and first-boot firmware
- Read and interpret schematics and datasheets to write drivers and troubleshoot hardware issues
- Implement and debug communication interfaces and protocols on real hardware
- Use oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and multimeters to debug signal, timing, and protocol issues
- Support embedded Linux–based platforms (kernel/bootloader basics, device tree, userspace applications)
- Work with the hardware team on design reviews, test plans, and issue resolution
- Document firmware design, test procedures, and release notes
- Support prototype builds, production testing, and field issues as needed

Required Skills

- 2+ years of hands-on embedded firmware development experience
- Strong C programming: pointers, memory management, bitwise operations, interrupts, state machines, and structured, maintainable code
- Ability to read schematics and datasheets, and to relate firmware behavior to the underlying hardware
- Practical board bring-up experience on new or custom hardware
- Good knowledge of communication protocols: UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, RS-485/Modbus, plus familiarity with USB, Ethernet/TCP-IP (or similar)

- Comfortable with lab instruments: oscilloscope, logic analyzer, multimeter; able to debug using waveforms and protocol decoding
- Experience with debuggers and tools (JTAG/SWD, GDB, IDEs) and version control (Git)
- Introductory knowledge of embedded Linux: build systems (Yocto/Buildroot), cross-compilation, boot process, basic drivers or device tree
- Strong problem-solving ability and a methodical approach to debugging

Good to Have

- Experience with ARM Cortex-M MCUs (STM32 or similar) and wireless SoCs (ESP32, Nordic nRF, TI CC series)
- Familiarity with an RTOS (FreeRTOS, Zephyr)
- Experience with wireless protocols: BLE, Wi-Fi, Zigbee, Thread/Matter, Sub-GHz
- Exposure to low-power design, bootloaders, and OTA firmware updates
- Basic scripting (Python/Bash) for test automation
- Experience with industrial protocols such as IEC 60870-5-104 or similar
- Awareness of EMC/EMI, and of design-for-test and production testing practices

Qualifications

- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or a related field

What We Offer

- Hands-on work on real products across multiple domains and hardware platforms
- Direct exposure to the full product cycle, including design, prototyping, and production
- Learning opportunities with a wide range of MCUs, SoCs, and protocols
- Compensation as per industry standards and experience
