Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Construction Manager – MEP to lead and manage the complete MEP construction activities at the project site. The candidate will be responsible for planning, execution, manpower management, subcontractor coordination, quality control, safety, material management, and timely completion of MEP works as per approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and supervise all MEP construction and installation activities at the project site.
- Coordinate HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Fire Fighting, ELV, and other MEP services.
- Review approved drawings, specifications, BOQ, method statements, and project requirements.
- Develop and monitor MEP construction schedules and ensure timely completion.
- Plan and allocate manpower, materials, tools, and equipment for site activities.
- Supervise and coordinate MEP engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and site teams.
- Monitor subcontractor performance, productivity, and work progress.
- Coordinate MEP works with Civil, Structural, Architectural, and other project teams.
- Ensure all MEP installations are carried out as per approved drawings and technical specifications.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, project managers, and contractors regarding MEP activities.
- Conduct regular site inspections and ensure required quality standards are maintained.
- Review and resolve technical and site execution issues.
- Coordinate with the procurement and stores teams to ensure timely availability of materials.
- Monitor material consumption and control material wastage.
- Review and approve material requirements and site requisitions.
- Monitor project progress against planned targets and take corrective action when required.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly MEP progress reports.
- Coordinate RFI, MIR, inspection requests, testing, and commissioning activities.




- Ensure proper testing and commissioning of all MEP systems.
- Monitor project costs and support effective cost-control measures.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, applicable codes, standards, and safety requirements.
- Coordinate with the QS/commercial team for measurements, variations, and additional works.
- Attend project coordination and progress meetings with clients and consultants.
- Support preparation of as-built drawings, O&M; manuals, testing reports, and handover documents.
- Ensure timely project completion and successful MEP handover.

Educational Qualification

- B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or relevant MEP discipline.
- 8–15 years of experience in MEP construction/project management.
- Strong experience in large-scale commercial, hotel, hospital, residential, or industrial projects.
- Experience in managing multiple MEP services and subcontractors will be preferred.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of MEP construction and site execution.
- Excellent knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Fire Fighting, and ELV systems.
- Strong knowledge of MEP drawings, specifications, BOQ, and construction methods.
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Excel, and project management tools.
- Strong leadership and manpower management skills.
- Excellent client, consultant, and subcontractor coordination skills.
- Strong planning, monitoring, and problem-solving abilities.
- Good knowledge of testing, commissioning, and handover procedures.
- Strong understanding of quality and safety requirements.
- Ability to manage multiple activities and complete projects within time, cost, and quality targets.
