Job Description – Pharmacist

Healthcare Organisation: HealthLand Clinics

The Pharmacist will be at the forefront of medicine dispensing and pharmacy operations at HealthLand Clinics. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the healthcare domain, with a focus on safe and accurate prescription fulfilment, medicine knowledge, vaccine management, inventory control, record-keeping, and compliance with applicable pharmaceutical regulations. The role also requires effective interaction with patients, parents, doctors, and nurses to support smooth and efficient pharmacy operations.

Qualification D. Pharm/B. Pharm with or without M. Pharm Degree.

Key Responsibilities

- Customer Facing: Dispense medications accurately as prescribed by doctors and dentists, including calculating, weighing, measuring, and other dispensing requirements.
- Customer Interaction: Maintain good knowledge of medicines, address basic medicine-related queries, and suggest alternate medicines when a particular brand is unavailable, wherever appropriate.
- Vaccine Maintenance: Maintain complete knowledge of vaccines and cold-chain requirements and ensure proper storage and maintenance of vaccines.
- Record Keeping: Maintain pharmacy files, patient profiles, charge system files, inventories, control records, and relevant registers for poisons, narcotics, and controlled drugs, as applicable.
- Inventory Management: Receive stock from Stores and verify it against issue slips,



including quantity, batch number, expiry date, and other relevant details.
- Safety & Cleanliness: Ensure a protected, clean, and organised working environment within the pharmacy.
- Pharmacy Operations: Complete operational requirements of the pharmacy, including verifying order entries, maintaining relevant records, and removing expired and/or damaged drugs from the pharmacy inventory.
- Compliance: Adhere to applicable legal rules, regulations, procedures, and professional standards governing pharmaceutical practice.
- Administrative Support: Perform other administrative and operational tasks as required.
- Doctor & Nurse Coordination: Interact with doctors and nurses to understand relevant prescription patterns and maintain appropriate medicine and vaccine inventory.

Required Qualifications

- Candidate must have a valid registration/licence from the Karnataka State Pharmacy Council.
- D. Pharm/B. Pharm with or without M. Pharm Degree.
- Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in retail pharmacy or sales in pharmacy/dispensary units in retail clinics, maternity hospitals, or similar healthcare settings.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team.

Preferred Skills

- Knowledge of pediatric healthcare services.
- Basic computer operating knowledge.
- Ability to use CRM tools for tracking leads and sales progress.

Salary & Benefits :

Pay: ₹27,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
