Role Summary

We are looking for a Senior Associate to join our US Accounting & Taxation team. The candidate will be responsible for handling accounting, bookkeeping, and tax-related work for US-based clients. The role requires a valuable understanding of accounting fundamentals, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a rapid-paced, client-focused environment. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who want to build a long-term career in US accounting and taxation and gain hands-on exposure to international clients and processes.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting for US-based clients.

* Prepare and review financial statements, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.

* Handle bank, credit card, and general ledger reconciliations.

* Assist in the preparation of US tax returns and related compliance work.

* Work on US tax forms such as Form 1040, Form 1120, and related filings.

* Maintain accounting records in accordance with US accounting practices.

* Prepare journal entries, month-end reports, and closing activities.





* Coordinate with internal teams and clients to gather financial information and resolve queries.

* Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance in all deliverables.

* Support senior team members in audit, taxation, and advisory assignments as required.

Software & Tools Exposure

Candidates will get hands-on training and experience in:

* QuickBooks

* Drake Tax Software

* Microsoft Excel

* Other accounting and tax software used for US clients

Required Skills

* Strong understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping.

* Basic knowledge of taxation concepts; knowledge of US taxation will be an advantage.

* Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

* High attention to detail and accuracy.

* Ability to manage deadlines and work on multiple assignments.

* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

* QuickBooks experience will be an added advantage.
