Job Summary

The Mechanical Engineer – Maintenance will be responsible for maintaining and improving the reliability of plant machinery and equipment. The role focuses on preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of production machines to ensure smooth manufacturing operations and minimum downtime.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of production machinery and utilities.
- Maintain hydraulic presses, forging equipment, stamping machines, extrusion lines, machining centers, compressors, cooling systems, and material handling equipment.
- Diagnose and rectify mechanical failures related to bearings, gearboxes, pumps, motors, conveyors, and pneumatic systems.
- Develop preventive maintenance schedules and ensure execution.
- Monitor machine health through condition monitoring techniques.
- Coordinate with production teams to reduce downtime and improve equipment efficiency.
- Maintain maintenance records, spare parts inventory, and equipment history.




- Support installation and commissioning of recent machinery.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure adherence to safety and maintenance best practices.

Qualifications

- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

Experience

- 3–8 years of experience in maintenance within manufacturing industries.
- Experience in metal processing, machining, forging, stamping, extrusion, or heavy engineering industries preferred.

Salary Range : 25000 to 33000
