Manufacturing Engineer

(PEB & EV Canopy structure)

Location : Jambuva, Vadodara, Gujarat
Experience : 3–7 Years
Qualification : Diploma / Graduate – Mechanical / Production / Manufacturing / Civil

(ITI with long service and relevant experience also can apply)

Job Responsibilities

· Plan and supervise day-to-day production and fabrication activities.

· Develop and implement fabrication processes, optimizing material usage and minimizing waste.

· Manage manufacturing of EV charging station canopies and PEB structures.

· Read and understand GA, fabrication/shop drawings and BOMs.

· Coordinate cutting, fit-up, welding, drilling, and grinding, assembly and painting.

· Ensure production as per drawings, quality standards and project schedules.

· Ensure timely availability of materials while maintaining cost efficiency

· Monitor manpower, material consumption, machine utilization and productivity.

· Coordinate with Design, Purchase, Stores, QA/QC, Projects and Site teams.

· Identify production bottlenecks and reduce rework, rejection and material wastage.

· Ensure proper dimensional accuracy and welding/fabrication quality.

· Monitor surface preparation, painting and DFT requirements.

· Coordinate inspection, packing,



marking and dispatch of fabricated structures.

· Ensure safe working practices and proper shop-floor housekeeping.

· In addition to this manage the stores data maintenance.

Required Skills

· Strong knowledge of structural steel fabrication and PEB manufacturing.

· Experience in welding, CNC/plasma cutting, drilling and fabrication processes.

· Ability to read structural/fabrication drawings.

· Knowledge of MS/structural steel sections, plates and connections.

· Valuable knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Excel.

· Drive R&D; initiatives for new fabrication methods, product enhancements, and cost reduction.

· Introduce automation, lean manufacturing, and advanced welding/assembly techniques.

· Hands-on experience in managing fabrication shop-floor activities.

Preferred Experience

· Candidates with experience in structural steel fabrication, PEB manufacturing or industrial fabrication will be preferred.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
