Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Weighbridge Operator to manage weighbridge operations, vehicle weighing, documentation, and dispatch-related records at our Ethanol/Distillery Plant.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate and manage the weighbridge system for incoming and outgoing vehicles.
- Record accurate vehicle gross weight, tare weight, and net weight.
- Verify vehicle details, material details, challans, invoices, permits, and other relevant documents.
- Coordinate with Stores, Dispatch, Security, Logistics, and Accounts for smooth vehicle movement.
- Maintain daily weighbridge registers, weight slips, and system records.
- Ensure proper documentation for raw materials, finished goods, chemicals, coal, grains, and other materials.
- Identify and report discrepancies in vehicle weight or documentation immediately.
- Ensure weighbridge records are accurate and properly maintained for audit purposes.
- Monitor vehicle entry and exit as per plant procedures.
- Follow all plant safety, security, and operational protocols.




- Perform other weighbridge/dispatch-related duties assigned by the reporting manager.

Candidate Requirements

- 1–3 years of experience in weighbridge operations, preferably in an Ethanol Plant, Distillery, Sugar, Chemical, Manufacturing, or similar industry.
- Ethanol/Distillery industry experience will be given first preference.
- Basic computer knowledge and experience with weighbridge software/system.
- Good understanding of vehicle weighing and dispatch documentation.
- Positive numerical and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to work accurately under pressure.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including night shifts.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Candidates residing near the plant location will be preferred.

Preferred Profile

Priority will be given to candidates who have hands-on experience in weighbridge operations within an Ethanol/Distillery plant.
