Job Role: Assistant Manager ( Maintenance)

Industry: Veneer / Particle Wood Industry

Location: Distt. - Narsinghpur (MP)

Salary: ₹35,000 - ₹40,000 / month

About The Role:

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Maintenance Assistant Manager to join our industrial manufacturing team in Kareli. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in electrical systems and maintenance operations in a manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for ensuring smooth plant operations through effective maintenance planning and team management.

Key Responsibilities:

✔ Plan & execute preventive and predictive maintenance for plant machinery

✔ Oversee machinery like veneer slicing, drying, pressing, & sanding machines

✔ Manage & supervise fitters, electricians, & technicians to minimize downtime

✔ Monitor spare parts inventory, track budgets, & standardize safety/SOP protocols

✔ Coordinate with production & quality teams for smooth plant operations etc.

Key Skills / Requirements:

1. Education: B.Tech / Diploma (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field)

2. Experience:



Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Electrical/Maintenance in an industrial manufacturing plant / wood processing or similar industrial sector

3. Skills: Strong knowledge of veneer/particle wood processes, leadership, & problem-solving etc.

4. Experience in FMCG, or any continuous process industry.
5. Knowledge of SAP / maintenance management software.
6. Safety certifications (e.g., First Aid, Electrical Safety).
7. Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, HT/LT panels, motors, VFDs, PLCs, and automation.
8. Proven track record in reducing breakdowns and improving equipment reliability.
9. Ability to read electrical drawings, circuit diagrams, and manuals.
10. Positive leadership, communication, and team management skills.
11. Willingness to work in shifts and handle emergencies.

Preference: Only candidates with relevant industrial manufacturing electrical experience will be considered, also Immediate joiners preferred.
