Job Summary

The Store Assistant supports daily store and inventory operations at the production plant. The role involves assisting in material handling, storage, issuance, and documentation to ensure smooth production flow.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in receiving and unloading incoming materials
- Support verification of materials against delivery challans and purchase orders
- Help in proper storage, labeling, and identification of materials
- Assist in issuing materials to production as per instructions
- Maintain basic inventory records and update stock registers / ERP entries
- Support periodic physical stock checks and cycle counts
- Follow FIFO/FEFO, ESD, safety, and 5S guidelines
- Assist in handling rejected, returned, or scrap materials
- Coordinate with Storekeeper, Production, and Quality teams





Required Skills & Qualifications

- Minimum ITI / Diploma (any discipline).
- 1–2 years of hands-on Stores experience, preferably in a Manufacturing / EMS setting.
- Direct exposure to material receipt, GRN, binning, FIFO, stock issue & return, and ERP/system entries.
- Basic knowledge of inventory handling and material storage.
- Willingness to work in a factory / plant environment.
- Basic computer skills (MS Excel, data entry) preferred.
- Physically fit for material handling tasks.
