What your role will entail
- Teaching the Akanksha Hindi curriculum through effective pedagogical practices
- Designing and delivering engaging lessons in Hindi language and literature
- Developing students’ reading, writing, speaking, listening and comprehension skills
- Using discussions, activities, projects, stories, role plays and real-world examples to make learning meaningful
- Designing assessments to evaluate conceptual understanding, language skills and student progress
- Adapting teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs
- Encouraging students to ask questions, express their thoughts and develop effective communication skills
- Connecting classroom learning with students’ everyday experiences, culture and the world around them
- Creating a positive, inclusive and engaging classroom workplace
- Building strong relationships with students, parents, community and the school team
- Participating in professional development, school training, meetings,
extra-curricular and celebratory activities
- Making occasional community visits to stay connected with parents
Knowledge/Skills
- Strong subject knowledge and expertise in Hindi
- Good understanding of Hindi grammar, literature and language skills
- Ability to simplify concepts and make learning engaging and relatable
- Strong oral and written communication skills in Hindi
- Adaptability to new instructional approaches
- Strong planning, organisation and teamwork skills
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
- Openness to feedback and critical reflection
Education:
- M.A. in Hindi + B.Ed. (Required)
- Bachelor's degree in Hindi or a related field (Preferred)
Experience:
- Teaching: 1 year
Language:
- Hindi (Required)
Pay: ₹31,000.00 - ₹34,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
