Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and hygiene-conscious Helper Cook to support daily kitchen operations. The candidate will assist in food preparation, kitchen maintenance, inventory handling, and ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning of the kitchen. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about cooking and willing to learn and grow in a skilled environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist the Cook/Chef in preparing breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, and beverages.
- Wash, clean, peel, chop, and prepare vegetables, fruits, and other ingredients.
- Support cooking activities as directed by the Cook/Chef.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, utensils, equipment, and storage areas.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of food items to maintain freshness and quality.
- Assist in serving food whenever required.
- Monitor stock of groceries and kitchen supplies and report shortages in a timely manner.
- Receive and organize supplies, provisions, and kitchen inventory.
- Dispose of kitchen waste responsibly and maintain a clean working environment.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation,



and hygiene standards.
- Perform any other kitchen-related duties assigned by management.

Desired Skills & Qualifications

- Basic knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques.
- Experience in a restaurant, cafeteria, guest house, corporate kitchen, or residential kitchen preferred.
- Understanding of hygiene and food safety practices.
- Ability to work long hours when required and handle physical tasks.
- Honest, disciplined, punctual, and trustworthy.
- Positive attitude with willingness to learn and adapt.

Location Preference

Candidates residing within 50 km of Gurugram (Hero Honda Chowk) are preferred. However, candidates from other locations may also apply as accommodation and food will be provided by the employer.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
