Vendor Sourcing Manager – US E-Commerce

Experience: 5–8 years in export sourcing or merchandising for US retail or e-commerce

Role Summary

Find, develop and manage manufacturers in India and China for paper products, art supplies and new categories, delivering US-compliant products at target landed cost.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and qualify vendors through factory audits, capacity checks, compliance review and sampling
- Negotiate FOB price, MOQ, payment terms and lead times, and build landed-cost and margin sheets
- Manage sample development, specs, packaging, labelling and FBA-ready cartonization
- Ensure US compliance (CPSIA, Prop 65, ASTM D-4236 for art materials, FBA packaging rules) and arrange third-party testing
- Run QC: pre-production, inline and pre-shipment inspections
- Plan production and dispatch against the replenishment/ROP plan, and coordinate freight,



palletization and 3PL inbound
- Build a vendor scorecard covering quality, OTIF, cost and responsiveness, and keep backup vendors for key SKUs
- Scout recent categories with an India-sourcing advantage, working with the marketing and research teams

KPIs

Landed-cost savings %, on-time delivery %, defect/return rate, new SKUs developed per quarter, vendor scorecard ratings

Requirements

- Strong vendor network in paper and stationery or home textiles; China sourcing experience preferred
- Working knowledge of Incoterms, export documentation and US product compliance
- Commercial negotiation skills and Excel costing ability
- Willingness to travel

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
