We are looking for a confident, professional and experienced Visa Counsellor to join our growing team.

The ideal candidate should have previous experience in the Immigration / Visa Consultancy / Overseas Education industry and should possess solid client-handling, counselling and communication skills. The candidate should be capable of understanding client profiles, explaining suitable visa options and guiding clients throughout the initial consultation and application process.

JOB ROLE

Visa Counsellor / Immigration Counsellor

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Conduct consultations with prospective clients regarding immigration and visa options.
- Understand clients' educational, professional, financial and personal profiles.
- Assess client requirements and provide appropriate preliminary guidance regarding available visa pathways.
- Explain visa categories, eligibility criteria, application procedures, documentation requirements and general processing stages.
- Provide clear and professional information to clients and address their initial queries.
- Identify suitable immigration or visa options based on the client's profile.
- Convert genuine enquiries into consultations and prospective cases.
- Follow up with prospective clients through calls, WhatsApp and other communication channels.
- Maintain regular communication with clients throughout the counselling and documentation stages.
- Coordinate with the documentation and case-processing team for smooth handling of client files.
- Ensure that clients are provided with accurate information and are directed to the appropriate team for case-specific or legal matters.
- Maintain proper records of client consultations, follow-ups, appointments and case status.
- Monitor leads and ensure timely follow-up to maximise client conversion.
- Achieve assigned monthly counselling, sales and conversion targets.
- Maintain professional relationships with clients and provide a positive customer experience.




- Maintain confidentiality of client information and company records.
- Stay updated with general changes in visa programs, documentation requirements and immigration procedures relevant to the company's services.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

- Previous experience in Immigration / Visa Consultancy is highly preferred.
- Candidates with experience as a Visa Counsellor, Immigration Counsellor, Visa Consultant, Immigration Consultant or Counselling Executive may apply.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent client-handling and counselling abilities.
- Good convincing, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Basic to good understanding of immigration and visa processes.
- Ability to understand and assess client profiles effectively.
- Good knowledge of Hindi and English; Punjabi communication skills will be an advantage.
- Basic computer knowledge and ability to maintain client and lead records.
- Target-oriented, confident and professional approach.
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
- Strong follow-up skills and a positive attitude towards achieving targets.
